Chicks for Charity began in 2003, as an effort to gather local friends to raise money to help fight the disease that had affected their friends and families. What began as a small dinner event with fewer than 70 women has tripled in attendance and funds raised since it’s inception. Chicks for Charity has successfully raised more than $20,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn Lauder in 1992.
